Entertainment
Task
A large entertainment company was having issues with network instability and performance. Due to a geographical span of the network and the multitude of WAN technologies, one OSPF area was causing constsnt reconvergence on the network.

Solution
Together with their staff we redesigned the network by separating it into multiple OSPF areas improving network stability and convergence times. We helped put a plan together for the long term OSPF summarization to achieve even further stability.

Financial
Task
A large mutual fund company had a mix of firewalls on all different releases and platforms. This caused manageability and in some cases stability issues. Furthermore there was no high availability in the management consoles of the firewalls.

Solution
We put together a project plan and implemented the migration and upgrades of nation-wide firewall infrastructure standardizing on a particular release and developing future upgrade procedures. Macroscape also implemented an HA firewall management solution.

Legal
Task
A Medium size security litigation firm needed a network security strategy that spanned 3 geographically distributed locations. Specifically they needed to secure client and partner communications.

Solution
We have defined a security policy and made tactical improvements in their remote access and client/partner VPN design.
